This is an introduction to the project I have been working on since 2022. We are now at the stage of releasing films to give you a sense of the project and how you can become involved. In this first episode we discuss the "being prepared" with a first aid kit. The trailer will give you a sense of the film in a few minutes, and then you can watch the 40 minute episode packed with information. Feel free to send the link to the trailer to your friends or family who you think may be interested in what should be in their first aid kit!

In this episode, we begin by discussing the types of road crashes you may come across and the injuries you may see. Based on this we can then put together a first aid kit that will serve us well. We also run through some items in first aid kits that you may have wondered what they looked like "out of the packet" and how it is used.

Are You Good To Go?

​​This film was made during Kabaret 2026, a 72 hour filmmaking weekend for Filmonik members and friends; a non-competitive and usually no-budget event. We started with a few stunts and then in the editing process, this film was born. Purely for fun and entertainment! Enjoy the seriousness of it!

In conversation with a road safety professional - Dr Bridget Doran

This is a conversation with Consultant Engineer Dr Bridget Doran. Her PhD was in driver behaviour and in this conversation she talks to us about her research into distracted thinking while driving, and its implications in road crashes. It is not a short conversation, less than 30 minutes, but it could not have been explained in less, I feel.

Reserved for Episode 6. This might be our initial introduction to first aid skills. While we are not a replacement for a hand-on first aid qualification, the length of the course now, compared to when I was teaching it in the 90's and earlier this Century, leaves little time to practice skills in slings and fracture management. This episode should be ready by mid April.​
