Is Your Business Looking To Support A Social Enterprise?
This project is the first of its kind in the world, as far as I know. I have not designed it based on what I have seen: it comes from my lived-experience, which includes:
as a first aider from the age of 11 (that is 25 years as a volunteer of St John Ambulance Australia and 21 years after that!);
employment as a First Aid Trainer for both St John and Ambulance Victoria (15 years in total);
running my own business as an allied health medical centre (for 20 years);
on the team of Emergency Response personnel at a local Retirement Village (for 3);
and stopping to help at road crashes when I happen to be in the wrong place at the right time! One of these crashes was the inspiration to design this project after I saw bystanders wanting to help but not willing to step forward.
In 2022, I enrolled myself in a 'Master of Creative Industries' to create the framework for the project using the successful key elements of social impact campaigns (think of Metro Trains 'Dumb Ways To Die' (2012) and 'Hector the Cat' (1971-1982). After completing the degree in 2024 I entered the two-year 'Diploma in Emergency Health Care' (a qualification one step below Paramedic), so I could ensure the films I make for the project are evidence based.
I have experience as a filmmaker through my paternal genes, and both studied film and practiced on VHS last Century. I updated to the digital format just before COVID hit, allowing me time to make my first 100 short films during lockdowns.
I have created a strong structure for this project with a foundational research project pointing to the key elements of successful campaigns and a business plan including both marketing and financial plans. If you are looking to invest in a social enterprise of this nature, I am happy to meet with you and share all my documentation that will answer your questions.
My total budget for the first 25 films is $200,000 (that's $8,000 per film). This does need an Impact Producer to go over my numbers but that is where I have costed it to commence. One you are clear on your budget allocation to Philanthropic or Sponsorship opportunities, I am more than happy to meet you face to face or over Zoom to discuss what you would like in return for your investment, such as logo in the credits of each film, on our tangible marketing material, on our socials etc.
Keep in mind, this project will grow to be an Australia-wide online project, spreading across each State and Territory and reaching into the remote areas of Australia where internet dares to go! Road crashes are everywhere! If you want to be seen to be supporting the people impacted by road crashes, then we are the project for you. Call or email me and we can take it from there. I look forward to meeting you.
